From the Social Kaos website:

"Hi my name is Mohammed Khan, I am 37 years old and have been writing music since 1988. My first album came out on 01.01.1990 and was called Free-Style and my band was named Social Kaos. It went on to sell around 40,000 copies throughout England, and had many plays on Radio 1 with John Peel and Key 103 with Pete Mitchell. As well as Granada TV NME, City Life, Evening News on many occasions throughout the early nineties.

The vocalist Brenelda went on to be the vocalist for K Klass who later released "Rhythm is a Mystery" which went on to be a Top Ten hit that I was glad for her, as our record company had financial problems and I wouldn't renew my contract with them."

Comments:

"This CD brings together the best of Social Kaos's output between 1990 and 2008. Part of the wave of Manchester producers inspired by the Hacienda's acid house / Detroit techno nights, Social Kaos (Mohammed Khan) released a couple of 12"s (the "Free Style" EP on SCAM, and the "New Dawn" EP on his own Social Kaos imprint) in the early 90s, from which most of these tracks are culled. Similar in style to 808 State (in fact Graham Massey engineered the first SK recordings), this is the sound of Madchester era rave music. This is the first time these tracks have been on CD. All proceeds from the sale of this CD is going to St Ann's Hospice and the New Children's Hospital Appeal."

Available to purchase from Piccadilly Records.
