808 State Discussion

Hey all. I've got no record player and I want to buy a digital copy (CD, mp3, whatever) of the full Victor Calderone Remix of Cubik. Does anyone know where I can get it? Cheers from an 808 fan from across the pond in NYC.

Another US 808 fan. Discovered them in '98. Got 808:88:98 as my first pickup. A full-length album release between Don Solaris and Outpost Transmission would have been nice. As for the material itself, I don't really have any objections.

Just got meself the Ooops single on CD. The back lists 3 songs: Ooops, Ski Family, and 808091 live (which is basically Donkey Doctor with a few tweaks). Anyway, there aren't 3 songs on it, tho... there are 7. Seems like there's about four remixes of Ooops itself on top of the original version. Anyon...

Huzzah! An FSOL fan on the 808 site! I've got something like 28 CDs of 808 and FSOL material. Finding someone else who is a heavy fan of both groups is a first... I assume there's a few more such folk in the UK.

Yeah, to update: I got Legion of Boom, and it's a lot of fun, I must say. I do like. Kinda reminds me a bit of Kish Kash in places, but not quite as weird or good. The Milla Jovovich track is solid. For your money's worth, I do recommend the new Lamb CD, though, for those who are fans. I've heard fo...
