It was pretty funny. On one side of the bar it was the over 65s Music Hall night and the other side was full of 30 something ravers. Occasionally a raver would slip through into the other side for a dance with the oldies.

What a fantastic night it was and thanks to 808 for a superb set which was the icing on the cake. Lasted until about 4 in the morning which wasn't bad given the quantity of lager consumed (fortunately in Monroes before the £3.80 for a tin of Bud). Just ordered from HMV.co.uk for £8.99 and free delivery. Not bad for a double CD. Fingers crossed it arrives in a timely fashion.

Just picked up a copy of the Oct 07 mixmag, a special issue entitled 20 Years of Acid House. Contains a free Josh Wink Mix CD including Voodoo Ray plus interviews with AGCG, Peter Hook and Paul Hartnoll amongst others inside. There's also a Tony Wilson obituary. All well worth a look.

I shall enjoy a celebratory beer tonight. Just won State to State vol 1 on eBay for £13 and am told it is in very good condition. Only the postal service can stop me from completing my 808 'album' collection now.

Ordered a copy from Boomkat two days ago and received the CD today. Waiting for some quiet time to have a proper first listen.

Went up to my self imposed limit and got outbid by Retro Games 'n' Consoles who won the item with a fairly substantial £36 bid. Such is life. Like Ancodia says be patient and it'll no doubt come up for sale again.

I've been hoping to buy this for a while now but no matter how keen I am to get hold of it there is no way on earth I'll be fleeced for £99.99 plus. :( I'd be surprised if any of you lucky enough to have a copy would tell me otherwise.
