Ok...this is one of the best 808 tracks i've heard in ages and i cant belive it didn't make the album...i'd go so far as to say it should be released as a single in it's own right. It's an excellent track and sounds very current...loving that bassline! Seriously, this would get played out by many Djs...gimme more!

The bassline resembles the Matrix freeway chase, yes 808 ahead of their time again as the Matrix was made 5 years later.

Great stuff,

Gotta agree, its one of 808's best recent works. I cannot believe the likes of Rollerball, Fajita, Metaluna, King Kong and Long Orange (although eventually on US OT) were not included as original album tracks!

Its a travesty these superb tracks were not heard on 808's main album releases and therefore exposed to a wider audience.

Please give us more of these fine unreleased tracks. Thanks once again guys!

Yes-agree there.

I simply love Kong King and Long Orange.

Rollerball would have been an ideal live track alongside Relay, Fuzznasty, Doctors and Nurses, Long Orange and Quincys Lunch

agreed it is a great track, quite propellerheads-y.. the first bit of the bassline sounds a bit like the bassline to 'sync/swim'. excellent stuff.

I've just added another track entitled 'Santolo' from that PWL session to the sounds page.
