LAME as always (errr, as in encoded with LAME 3.98a11), this mp3 (59:59, 192kbps, 82,4MB)
can be yours to keep by getting it one of the following places/ways:

iTunes Music Store

"One-click"-subscription

RSS-feed

If you're one those people that think podcatching/RSS-feeds "suck", then click here...!

NOTE:
The mix itself is licensed under: Creative Commons License (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0),
The individual tracks' copyright are held by the artists and labels and are here used with their prior and/or written permission.

Eventhough I doubt they frequent this forum, I'd think that the following would be in good order anyway:
Thanks to all of the artists and labels involved for their support...!

Thanks goes to Carl Taylor for the additional support, understanding and being a class-act (more than just in one sense)...!

Also a special “Thank you...!” goes to Dimitri Pike - for putting things into the right perspective, and getting CaN back on the tracks!
Without him, CaN probably would've stopped dead in it's tracks, and this mix would've never seen the light of day...

Feedback welcome and appreciated - T.I.A.!

Yeah, pretty nice one that Umek-mix! Really enjoying that one at the moment! :D

Speaking of nice mixes, MySpazz-friend Mezerik has started a podcast called: "Mezcast",
which already contains some pretty good sets!
He'll be adding a new set each month, so subscribe now and otherwise update regularly!
More info: http://www.mezerik.com/mezcast.html

BTW, for those of you who think podcasts and that ilk are a royal pain to use(?),
Mez' also got some straight-forward DL-links on the above mentioned page, too!

Mezerik has also made a real close-to-punishing techno-set, called:"Friday Night Burnout",
which can you can DL from here: http://www.mezerik.com/mixes/mezerik%20 ... -06-07.mp3

All in all, pretty good stuff, if you want that occasional Tresor-moment at home... 8)

And now for some "Compiling a Network"-updates ("Shameless-plug"-mode: ON):
I've previously made an exclusive CaN-mix for Wildteklabel-honcho Dimitri Pike's excellent "Teknology"-show,
which can be heard on French Be-radio, currently once a month every second tuesday.

Mr. Pike has apparently now decided to put this mix up for grabs...!

Meant as a sampler for the "Compiling a Network"-series,
this mix (called: "CaN via Teknology") is only accessible via his:
Teknology podcast-/RSS-feed
- along with his own rocking show-sets, plus some!

Only one thing to say: subscribe NOW!

For the rumor-mill: Dimitri should be in the midst of making a Wildtek promo mix;
knowing his label's tracks and Dimitri's capabilities, this should be interesting!

Secondly, there's been earlier "leaked" a CaN-mix out on the net, called v5.0,
which is almost practically identical to the recently released v4.0-set!
The differences here are that the (then-called) v5.0-mix is slightly shorter,
and includes an unreleased (ACE!) track by Carl Taylor, instead of Dirty Boy's otherwise excellent "The Promise"!

Renamed v4.1, this mix isn't - and won't - be part of the CaN-feed,
but it will publicized and heard in various other contexts out there "on da web".

In connection with Elektrosouls' new, soon-to-be-online website,
it's planned that the v4.1-mix will here get it's official premiere...!
(along with some pretty ACE! sets by: Jacen Solo, Mick Welch and Elektrosouls himself!)
Keep an eye on: http://www.elektrosouls.net - for more details...

All of this should keep you lot occupied for a while...!

'later people,

And here's an update:
Currently all four official "Compiling a Network"-mixes are now available for download in the (virtually) CD quality FLAC-format!

Derived directly from the uncompressed masters, this is probably the closest thing as to getting hold of these mixes as bona-fide CD's!

If any of you would like to have a go at these, then check my MySpazz-blog for further details...!!!

This is totally UNOFFICIAL, but I thought that I'd give my favorite forum a head start on things:
"Compiling a Network v5.0" is now up for grabs for you lot - still real quiet-like, mind!

Tracklist:
Veste - Monochord /(Unreleased)
The Parallel - Distant Memory /(Unreleased)
Noise Control - Steel (Corrugated Tunnel Remix) /(Ltd. White-label release)
Mick Chillage - Looking for Light/(Unreleased)
Ben Businovski - Permanence /(Code 316 Recordings)
Laura Palmer - Missed /Thinner
Carl Taylor - Jyagyn/(Unreleased)
Unique 3 - The Theme (dee3's mix) /(Unreleased)
The Reminder - Lite On /(Etiku World Records)
Bjørn Svin & Christian Bloch - Københavner /(Funque Droppings/Memento)
Skyscraeper - Track 1 /(Filtered Visions)
Julian Eustace - Loose /(Electronic Reform/Static Recordings)
Julian Eustace - Underground /(Electronic Reform)
Mick Chillage - Interstate /(Unreleased)
Dimitri Pike - Untitled 1 /(Wildtek Virtual - Promo)
System Exclusive - Introbitch (Extendend) /(Unreleased)

Running-time: 55:48
Encoded with LAME 3.98a11 at 192kbps - CBR
ID3-tags: Yes (v1.X and v2.X)

And "Yes!" - you've read correctly - my Unique 3-remix,
which Markus' mentioned somewhere in this topic is on it, too!
And with Edzy's (of Unique 3-fame) blessing, I might add...!

("What no LAME-puns?" Sorry, it's getting kind of worn, IMO!)

And how do you get hold of this latest slab of fine neighborhood-noise?
Either:
Go here for the multifunctional feedburner-feed/page (all depending on your browser)

Or update your already existing subscription (podcast/RSS)

Or even better, actually:
Download the EPK (a PDF-file) from here - which contains all of the necessary links, you'll ever need!
Then you won't have to be dickin' around with copying, pasting and sending links left 'n' right to your buddies!
Just attach the PDF-file to an email, and that's all he wrote... Boo-Yah!

Enjoy - feedback always appreciated...! T.I.A.!

Oh BTW and FYI - the mix gets officially announced this coming Sunday evening,
so try and see if all of you can't keep a lid on things until then...! :D

Again, T.I.A.!
