The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die

Post by Pob »

The new Prodigy album is out next March and they are giving away an edit of the title track on their web site.

http://www.theprodigy.com

The track is only available until Wednesday 3rd December to get on over and grab it. You do have give them your email address but mickey.mouse@disney.com should do the trick because it isn't one of those where they send you a link.

Oh, and there will be a video available from tonight as well.

I gotta say I was slightly disappointed by that free tune, but I checked some of the new ones being played at festivals on Youtube and I have to say, some of the tunes are definitely amongst the Prodigy's best!

Got a promo, the album is amazing, back to experience / jilted generation era, but just enough modern edge to stop it sounding cheesy.

Check out 'Warriors Dance' fantastic old skool mayhem in an up to date fashion!!!

Amazing stuff, one of the best albums for ages.

I whole-heartedly agree, Mark. Everyone must buy this on Monday because it is absolutely ace. The best album since Jilted, without a doubt.

I love Invaders Must Die. As has already been said it echos back to Experience and Jilted Generation but maintains the hardcore rock/drum and bass style of Fat of the Land and Always Outnumbered.
I felt that Always Outnumbered was not as good as Fat of the Land. I felt it was a bit messy in places and left you feeling a bit flat. Invaders Must Die is a welcome return. The first 3 tracks hit you hard and fast and from there it never lets up. I must have listened to this album back to back at least 10 times the day i got it. That has not happened to me since the 808 State Quadrastate cd came out. The 11 tracks on Invaders doesn't seem enough though and you are left wanting more it is so good. Praise to the Prodigy for the time it has taken to produce this album since the last one. That time has not been wasted. I just hope we get another quality album like this sooner rather than later but if the next album is as good as this i don't mind waiting another 5 years.
Does anybody think that the stand alone single Baby's Got A Temper should have been included on Always Outnumbered? It is a good track. Shame it was not on that album. When it was released i though it was an indication of what to expect from the the next album which turned out to be Always Outnumbered.

I wasn't too keen on Baby's Got A Temper, if I'm honest. But I'm right with you on Invaders Must Die it is exceptional. I listened to it three times a day for the first week.

I'm looking forward to seeing them again in April.

Well I have to say that the gig at Manchester on Good Friday was absolutely the best. There was not a duff track played and there is not a single track I can think of that they missed out (hold on.... Girls..... they played NOTHING off Always Outnumbered).

Stand out tracks in terms of crowd response were Omen, Warriors Dance, Take Me To The Hospital, No Good, Voodoo People and Out Of Space.

The Prod are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
