OK, so Mixmag haven't put 808 State on their own shortlist of 100 artists (Gerald is), however, quoting from their Facebook page (which you have 'like' first) :
"And remember, if the act that changed your life isn’t there don’t despair. Email your personal nomination to greatest@mixmag.net and state your case. If we think you’ve got a point, we’ll add your act to the ‘public nominations’ at the foot of this page. Then it’s up to dance music to decide."

It's a shame! They are my favorite band! I had to vote for Underworld instead but if it somehow makes it there I'll vote for it from my other account.
