808 State's agent Ben Kouijzer sadly passed away this past weekend. He was only 36.
Graham Massey: "Saddened by the loss of our tireless and loved agent BK. Mostly a regular phone voice to us, always upbeat and positive in the face of us grumpy northerners. Last met up with Ben when we did a Rough Trade instore this time last year - he took us and our entourage for a curry, then gave our friends a lift home to North London - next day they individually contacted me to ask who that lovely man was, such an interesting bloke etc - never even mentioned what he did for a living. 20 ****** 20. Condolences to his loved ones."
We know that many of you followed Ben's journey closely over the past 8 months, so we felt called to share the details of his service with you in case you would like to join us from afar and remember our beautiful Ben.
The ceremony will be taking place on Saturday 12th December at 1pm UK time.
