Fahita

Post by Mark »

I've come across a supposed 808 State exclusive track 'Fahita' in the mould of Quincy's, it rocks and certainly could be 808, but I would like confirmation that it is the guys firstly. Then I may share the secret of how to get it!!!

Graham is this you??? Markus do you know?

All I know is that Fajita is the name of a track that almost made it onto Outpost US.

Ah, so it is genuine, it is a Outpost Transmission US cutoff.

To obtain it, go to Amazon.com and search for OT. You'll get a message saying free download available. And that download is Fajita, spelt 'fahita' on the site. Cool track, should have been on UK release.

Also mentions a track called 'Vayo' but there's no Brown Sauce, Quincy's, Doctors & Nurses listed. And it says the label is Phantom records.

Any more info Graham?

Wow, nice one Mark! Can't find any mention of anything called 'Vayo' though, doesn't sound like anything by 808, but how did you find it?

Here's a link to the page:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... ital-music

Just sign in with your password and you're away. It's 5MB so it's roughly the same download time as one of the monthly archive tracks.

Apparently it's also available at http://www.listen.com (Rhapsody). Is anyone already a member there?

This is a quality track and should have been considered for OT. Maybe to replace Boogieman ( which I actually quite like) or as an extra track.

Superb crunching bass, ranks alongside Quincy's and Long Orange as my fave recent 808 tracks. Markus, any clues as to the sound of Brown Sauce? Pleease lets have bags of bass!!!

Sounds like it should be good, and only a week to go before it is released - can't wait. :D
