808 MP3 Heaven!!!

Post by Mark »

Just got an MP3 player for my car and have spent the best part of a week making 3 CD's, a full CD of every 808 track, a full remix CD and 808 remixes of other artists CD.

Over 350 tracks on 3 CD's amazing! I never have to leave the car again, plus my DVD player plays them hooray!

Check out the reviews at MP3.com, I have a Rio Volt which is an MP3CD player and also supports WMA and CD Text. Unfortunately, Rio or Sonic Blue have now gone belly up so there's probably no longer any support but its an excellant little player. Maybe try to pick up one going cheap, I paid around £160 when it came out over a year ago, but well worth it.

Creative seem to be the leaders at the moment. Get one of those with massive harddisk, e.g. 20 - 40 gigs.

Of course if you want to go the hard disc route and can afford it go for the fabulous new Apple iPod, its the 'dogs danglies'. It works with Macs and PCs via firewire or USB2. around 7500 songs on something smaller than a box of 20cigs.
