808 PLAYING LIVE ON RADIO TOMORROW NIGHT???

Post by smiley »

sorry for the shouting folks, but i wanted to get your attention (and apologies if this has already been mentioned, and i've not seen it!)...

...BUT:

808 are due to be "in the studio" with Tom Robinson tomorrow night on BBC Radio 6 (digital radio only) on the 'Evening Sequence' from 7-10pm.

i expect it's purely an interview / album tracks thing, but i've just heard another presenter trail it by saying "808 state will be playing live...".

he might have got the wrong end of the stick, but you never know...

cheers,

Yes, 808 will be on BBC 6 tonight at around 7:30 UK time! 'live' probably refers to an interview they will be giving. If you can't receive BBC6, tune in through the web. http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/

Good interview, enjoyed the tracks that were played especially Crossword. But then we find out we have to wait another week for the album. It will be worth the wait though. Plus Globalstate invade the email slot for the show - excellent! Nice plugging of the site Markus.

808 are f***ing great :D

808 on Radio 6

Markus Arnold does it again!
I was dying to e-mail, but had moved my computer beside the Sky Box so that I could record the show. And another week to wait on the album so I suppose lots of people will snap up those promo copies.

Hi,

The track with Alabama 3 is 'Crossword' from the latest album, 'Outpost Transmission', currently in the shops.

I hope that you did notice the original postings were in October 2002, a couple of weeks before the UK version of Outpost was released. I got a little excited myself when I had just seen the topic Title and was disappointed when I realised it was an old post with a new reply.
