I was chilling in my office and I decided to play the live real audio of the 808 Castlefield show. And the live version of 'In Yer Face' was different, and a lot harder.. faster sounding. I love that version!

Was 808 planning on releasing an updated mix of that track? In the similar fashion that Pacific/ Cubik was re-done for the greatest hits comp?

If so, was that the version that I heard on the Castlefield show? That was really awesome!

... Well, maybe it's not that different actually. It's just really sped-up and more aggressive sounding to me.

The re-makes of Pacific and Cubic were toppers for sure.

Drat, I've not heard the castlefield live cd, and therefore I've not heard the version of IYF you're on about , pat. Is it like the Facially yours remix, I wonder?
Any chance of someone sending it to Markus so he can post it on the sounds page?

(after all, no sign of a free bonus track so far this month ..)

oh and hear hear for a 2002 In Yer Face remix

Sorry lads, I meant the real audio that I do have downloaded from the sounds page. I wasn't thinking while I was typin'.

Thanks for pointing that out Marcus.

I would be nice if 808 released a live cd. Live shows are a main part of who they are. It only seems right.
