Well, if the Tribal Gathering date is confirmed, I'm there!

Flights are still widely available between London and Manchester from BA for 15 quid each way, have yet to check hotels.

Pete/John - assuming it's confirmed?

its rare for me to take a night off on new years eve, but i'll be there if 808 r playing.

will be flying up this time & staying at scruffy penis's hotel (or steve c's b&b).

Talking of tea-bags, you might like to hear this little nugget:

In the summer I went to see Steve 'Silk' Hurley dj @ Angel Deelite in Manchester. It was a really brilliant night, top vibe and Steve 'Silk' was on great form dropping lashings of really funky, phat vocal house (he even dropped a really top funky house re-mix of 50 Cent 'In Da Club' which just sampled the vocal repeating 'Come give me a hug', it were proper bo! anyone else heard it?) and the whole place was 'aving it!

Towards the end of the night one of the resident dj's stuck a tune on, Steve 'Silk' by now was away from the decks and 'aving it right off on a podium at the side of the dancefloor, and the dj put a 7 foot cut-out of Stanley (from the Tetley tea-ads) up behind the decks and went for a dance himself - a quality house nation moment!

The tribal thing on NYE is still unconfirmed. Chance is 50/50 according to Andy / Graham.

According to info on the Tribal messageboard (http://www.tribalgathering.co.uk/ubb/ul ... 1;t=020565), the lineup for NYE is as follows:

"GREG VICKERS
KRYSKO
PLUMP DJS
DJ YODA
IAIN TAYLOR
BUCKY

9-5AM

£25 ADV B4 DECEMBER 15TH, £29 THEREAFTER....."

Doesn't mean, however, that 808 won't be added later on...

According to Graham it's now pretty safe to say that 808 will not be playing TribalGathering on NYE...
