Hi,
I have it on good authority that Martin Price may be stirring again...
How does everyone feel about this?
If you could ask him anything, what would it be?

What exactly do you mean by 'stirring'?

I'd love to know what he's been up to for the last decade (apart from Switzerland etc) - is he still in the music buisness?...is he still in contact with Graham and the lads? What are the chances of him doing some new material with 808? (maybe even Gerald could join in to reform as the original techno 'supergroup'!!!!)

The main thing to ask would be what musical projects he's working on at the moment...

...I agree it's a long time since the Switzerland releases - what has he been doing in the meantime?

Oh yeah, i also remember reading in a music tech mag that he had built a shit-hot studio...there was also a photo...(it was a feature on studio design i think, and his was just an example among several others...). This was over 5/6 years ago so I cant remember exactly...

Let's just say that I have good, close to the source information that he is musically active again. If anybody is interested I will be posting Martin Price exclusives on a web page.
I can tell you that he may be hooking up with some old acquaintances to record new material  Want to know more? I'm hoping to get an exclusive interview...so if you want any questions asked, let me know here.

I should think that every f**ker here would want to know exactly what you're keeping from us: stop beating around the bush and spew!

Ok then...here's some tid bits for you:
Martin has been meeting with MC Tunes with a view to releasing a possible EP...produced by a one Mr Massey.
Not only that, but I'm hoping to get some answers from the man himself via interview...so, what would you like to ask Martin?
That's all for now...I'll let you know as the info comes in

Cool news! Graham has managed to keep that pretty secret then - it's the first I hear of it.
My question:
I wonder if this is him: DWCD 294 - FEEL GOOD Composed by Martin Price & Andy Whitmore.

Markus - you're having a laugh aren't you? I can't believe a former member of 808State would end up writing that kind of bumfluff. If he did, then the royalty cheques must have dried up.

scroll down to the end for a mention of Martin Price as a producer of Kaliphz (an Asian Hip Hop group that later became Kaleef)

bit of gossip from a guy I met in a pub in Bolton is that a dude called Mick from the States has been co-writing these new tunes with Martin and Tunes " seems this Mick is a bit of guitar monster" and Martin introduced him to Tunes. this geeza recons its the best stuff he's heared in a long time. Anyway seem that a new publishing deal is on the cards and a few live sessions are gona happen. Don't now about you but I cant wait. This matey also told me that Martin had been in a retreat in some buddist temple in Scotland and is basing his new music on budist mantras. sort of trance to meditation and Micks Guitar lines bring it all together. Tunes of course is being his normal laid back self, but apparantly he's having sleepless nights coz he is waking up at all hours with the rap stuff already written for Mick and Martins tracks, Think I need to get hold of the name of Tunes pharmacist

funny thing is that I heard somthing similar but apparntly the stuff is so secret that only a few people have heared it. of course I can believe that as martins work was always ripped off with others getting the credit. I'm one of those guys that still think after martin was forced to leave, 808 never were as good. ( what really did happen) I did hear that this Mick guy plays a well cool guitar but his style is durtyier than the slappers in Manchester
I for one think that given a chance Tunes will write better stuff than he has ever done. The man is a poet and if any one has the balls to let him say what he really wants too about the "System" and publishes it, perhaps we will have a new "Sex Pistols" after all rap is the voice of the people.

The only buddhist temple I can think of is in Eskdalemuir (usually either the wettest or coldest place in Scotland, or both) which is about 30 miles from sunny Peebles. I doubt he'd have had much fun there.
