Well, what a night that was!
Andy & Darren were amazing, thank you both for playing there, I could tell you were enjoying it, as you were both buzzing off the crowd, what a great venue, great vibe and mint people.
The tunes were spot on, it was great that you didn't play all the well known anthems, as that's what the likes of Vertigo and the other big name DJ's tend to do, there's only so many times you can hear Asha - JJ Tribute mixed with Young MC - Know How lol
The tracks you both played were harder than the usual stuff that tends to get played there downstairs, and everyone was loving it, some lovely acid tracks, and a load of lesser known tracks that I've not heard for years, and a fair few I've not heard before!!
I hope one day you might be able to make it back to Hazy Dayz and spin again, that would be really special.
They are sorting air conditioning next month (how hot is it in there?)
Spoke to Andy about M.V.I.T.A. and he wasn't sure if it was actually released on vinyl, and told me that what I thought was a DAT tape of their stuff on the radio show, was actually them playing live in the studio! wow, makes it that bit more special, but if you do manage to find the vinyl (if it was released) please get in touch!
Here's a couple of pics from the night:
