I tried to order it straight away! But it's on backorder status. ( plus it's going to cost me a frikkin fortune!!! )

Think this doesn't exist yet...

The Japanese record company jumped the gun and promoted the album for it's original release date (March?)...

Since the album's been delayed, it's doubtful if the Japanese version has been released beforehand... However, having said that, they seem to have released an Orb compilation ('BadOrb') way before us Brits, so ya never know!!

Having said all that, JPOP list it as a release date of 17th July!

Anyway, I wouldn't trust any of the release dates until we hear something from 808 themselves...

Hi there. This is my very first post from Tokyo, and hope you enjoy this news!

It seems like "outpost transmission" won't be released until August 21, 2002 in Japan according to the release info at the 808state's Japanese distributor, BAD NEWS.

http://www.badnews.co.jp/main/japanese/ ... dminid=808

(Of course it's written in Japanese, but I never know some of you might be an expert of reading Japanese!!)

It says this Japanese version will be released ahead of any other places in the world including special bonus track/s just like it happens all the time. (That's one thing good about living in Japan!) The sounds will remind us of "90" and "ex:el" as accid/break beats techno.

Well, give me sometimes to translate the whole page for you if any of you are interested in reading it.

A bit dissapointed that it's postponed again, but oh well...
