Famous people of Manchester... we need your help!!!!
Dear Bez,
Here is a begging letter with a difference.... Further to my posting on the forum, just some further information in connection with 808 State gig at the Victoria Baths and the project.
Victoria Baths Trust (winners of the BBC restoration program) have commissioned a 6 month series from ALL fm to promote the restoration of the Baths for the people of Manchester. This is a charitable organisation which is working towards saving a vitally important piece of Manchester's history from destruction. In this context we are exploring both the history of the Baths and the potential future use of them in close connection with the regeneration of Longsight and surrounding areas.

....any assistance would be greatly appreciated... Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. Georgina

P.S. Vic Baths has an open day every month sunday of the month and i'll be there conducting interviews ... come down, it won't cost a penny and it will definitely impress your granny!

Always worth a try! By the way... have had a message back from Graham and hopefully we can sort out an interview soon. I'll let you know if it all comes to fruition and when the show is aired.
In the meantime, if you could keep an aye out for any other peeps who attended the gig for an interview i'd be grateful.
Cheers! Georgina
