808 White label 12"? (Neukleotide - Sector II / Hybrid)
I'm not up on all things 808 but have been sorting out a pile of records and have come across a white label 12" which has 808 State written on it and nothing else.
The catologue number in the run off groove is TIDE 01.
Can anyone shed any light???

Ok, I have managed to obtain an MP3 sound sample (the wonders of modern technology!), if you send an email to coxy@flf4s.com I will send the MP3 in return! It's about a minute long and just under 1mb.
I do remember when I bought this collection of records some time ago, that the lad I had it off, said to me, "There's a rare 808 State record in there mate somewhere, I was offered £80 for it a few years ago", which to me sounded like a bit of a wifes tale!! But this maybe the one he was on about!

The writing on the label does look similar to the couple of white labels I've got (e.g. Newbuild):
Intrigued to know what this is!

We used to play some demo tapes on the 808 sunset radio show happy days)
neukleotide got played 4 or 5 times ….over 4 or 5 weeks not to sure it’s been a long time
So daz put his hand in and paid for the track to be press up
I think it was 500 copy’s probable most of them still under his bed
Cheers

Nope, it's a seperate band entirely - just a song that Andy & Daz (from 808 State) played on their radio shows. Daz just assisted (with the cash) to press up the records.
Whether there were any additional production/remastering work from Daz/Andy, I'm not sure, but the song itself has nothing to do with 808 (according to Andy's mail above)!
