Any good reason, why these bootlegs always are more expensive than ordinary domestic releases?
It is money right in the pocket for the guys in the shadow.
Maybe it is because they are very limited, and if they contain great music people want it. Personaly I buy it and put it on the shelf. But that is because I am a Pacific historian

Can't tell an awful lot from the MP3s given, could just be the Sax line from Pacific tacked onto the front of another tune.

Mornin 808-ers, was just listening to a Steve Lawler essential mix mp3 from July this year (that a friend had asked me to burn onto cd) and lo-behold he played Katafalk - Pacific 202. Tracklistings here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/essen ... l?20050717
Just thought i'd let you know...quite an interesting interpretation, and I couldnt resist wacking the amp up full but not sure if the musicality was right...riff sounded a bit off....hmmmm perhaps it was just my tired old ears!
Speaking of age and being 'old' im 30 next week (they keep telling me 30 is the new 20! :S ) and i'm off to MCR to see Monsieur Ian Brown strutt his funky tracksuit at the Evening News Arena (Bez's new band are supporting...should be quite amusing!). Well question is...i'm looking for good things to do afterwards, any recomendations from manc natives as to whats going on much appreciated...Also wheres the good clothes shops these days???

The fine people at Junohave sent me a replacement copy. Although this pressing is also pretty wobbly, this one plays fine. I really like the A side of this. As usual, Juno are highly recommended.markus wrote:Did anyone else order this one and has your copy also got a dent towards the end of side AA1? It makes the needle jump on mine and the bump is also visible / audible on side A1
