How far would you travel to watch 808 State Live?

Considering we have a wealth of gigs for the first in a long time, I thought it would be interesing to find out how far we are all willing to travel to watch 808 Live. (And we haven't ran a poll for ages either)

i think that's about 8500 kilometers...

I only say this though as I'm lucky to live in London - there is a good chance of the band playing here (as at Wang! recently) and although I would go to Manchester to see them, that isn't too far. If I lived in, say, Beijing, I'm sure I would have ticked the last box!

Actually it would depend on the location, and if I had the money at the time. Although I've never seen 808 abroad, if I had the time and money and 808 were doing an American tour I'd probably bump into them on their Nevada leg. Now what else is in Nevada?

burning man is in black rock city, nevada.
prolly the biggest event i've been to.
nearly 80,000 people in attendance in 2007.
this usually occurs late august.
music is mostly trance, i can only stand it for so long before i need 808!

So all you guys who voted 10'000 kilometres, presumably you're all going to Buenos Aires then??!! I've voted Moscow. I seriously would have gone to the Moscow gig that was planned a few years ago, but the gig didn't happen in the end...

I would have done, but I haven't got enough holiday left before the end of the year!

Furthest (so far) has been either Barcelona or Turin...

Definately not as far as Redcar, although 808 could play the Redcar Bowling club. Maybe even an open-air seafront performance?

I suppose that and the prospect of fish'n'chips and ice cream would encourage me to go that little bit further
