Ceefax interview anyone?

Post by markus »

Could someone take a look and see if the Massey interview is on Ceefax yet please? BBC don't seem to broadcast the full ceefax abroad anymore. Thanks.

I've been checking, but ain't seen it. They don't normally have interviews, they are more like two page info things with little quotes.

Keeping my eye out.

The interview with Graham can be found on Channel 4 page 453, titled: "Six years from an 808 State". The only bad thing is that it says that Outpost Transmission has already been released, however, that might just make people look out for it more when it does get released.

Just read the C4 Text interview. (after looking every night on BBC1 ceefax - thanks Markus!)

Interesting stuff, especially Graham stating he isn't bothered about older fans. Nice one.

The interview should hype OT anyway.

It's Graham who told me it was BBC ceefax, so maybe his way of showing he doesn't care about older fans
Anyway, can someone type it down please or if you've got a TV card in your PC - do a screen grab.
Thanks.

Can't really remember. There was a bit about Graham not realising it was 6 years since the last album, something about 808:88:98 sounding stupid with all the tracks laid side by side, a bit about the guest singers and of course the state of todays scene.

Oh and a rather heartening bit about Graham saying he didn't care about older fans views on the album, he would rather hear the opinion of 20 year olds.

Thats about all I can muster. Sorry!

He also referred to the Madchester era and the fact the roses and mondays took all the credit, with the statement, "Hey, we were there too"
