SINGLE RELEASE FROM OUTPOST TRANSMISSION ??

Hi.
Just wanted to ask Markus - Graham if there is any intention to release a single from the new Album

I heard one of the guys saying something about the track 606 would be a good choice - especialy if it had some remixes.
Anyway has anybody heard anything about a single or ??.

Let us know.

It seems very strange to me that no single will come from OT, but this appears to be the case.

606 and Crossword would make excellent releases, and I'm suprised that no single will preceed OT's release. Perhaps this is down to Circus?

It must be harder to promote an album that has no singles.

It's madness that there will be no singles from O/T. It would help promote the album, as would merchandise and it is also a way of letting other material see the light of day. There must be a lot of other tracks which didn't make it on to O/T. I think I remember Graham saying in a post a long, long, long time ago that there was originally over 100 minutes of music that they were considering for the album which had to be reduced to the 75 minutes which would fit onto a CD. If that is what 808 have decided then fair enough but if it is being done on the say-so of Circus then it is sheer lunacy.

Graham will hopefully correct me, but this is my interpretation:
Originally (and this is going back 18 months), Circus were only going to release an EP by 808 State. But then it transpired how much material there was, and so they decided to do an album.
I'm not quite clear how they are funded, but my impression is that they are an Indie label.
There was never talks or even rumours that the album would be accompanied by singles. Graham simply mentioned that 606 would be a possible radio promo. But if I understand correctly, that idea has been scrapped.

i was backstage chatting to Graham & Circus Guy at last gig, not gonna say everything what was said.

oh yes the cd, i'm a busy man as you know, a nice pleasent reminder might help!
