QUADRASTATE REVISITED.

Post by N.JOHNSON »

Rephlex Records did a great job of re-releasing New Build and was a bonus to get a copy at long last on CD.

So, is there going to be a re-release of Quadrastate in the future? I can't help thinking that the CD side of my 808 collection is a little let down by the absence of this classic album. So Graham, do you think Circus records would go for that as a little something to wet our appetites until your next glorious album?

Somebody should release it for you. All the fans would buy it i am sure and it may bring in new ones. It's got to be done.

i hope that 808 leave circus myself,

there's only 1 label to re-release Quadrastate along with Let Yourself Go as bonus's and that is WARP.

they regard 808 - let yourself go as an influence on their classics albums.

i'd also love 808 to sign to warp for future releases, as its an electronica label that i regard as one of the best around!

anyone agree???

Yes that would be a good choice. However they had years of time to sign 808 between ZTT & Circus and they didn't.
Other good choices for Quadrastate: Rephlex and SKAM.

I always though 808 may have moved on to Mute or maybe even Wall of Sound.

MUTE

Post by N.JOHNSON »

I have a mate who is a big Erasure fan and he has had a lot of dealings with mute over the years. They don't seem to be promoting Erasure that well in recent years so i cannot see them ever giving 808 the free reign they would like if they wanted to go there. :x

I really don't care who would re-release Quadrastate as long as it is remastered well and it gets released. :D
