He's back! The man who brought the seedier side of the Manc explosion to the Top 10 with the marvellous 'The Only Rhyme That Bites' returns this week, once again harnessed to his musical pals 808 State. Yes, MC Tunes is set to catapult his machine gun rap delivery into the business end of the chart courtesy of his new single 'Tunes Splits The Atom'. Backed by an electronic version of an old Beatles/Jam bass riff and a nagging computer game bleep assortment, 'Tunes' is taken from his forthcoming debut LP out next month. Deceptively simple, it's got 'hit' written all over it. Let's hope the man from Moss Side has learnt a new dance routine; that last one gave us back ache!
