Nov / Dec
808 are playing Bugged Out Christmas party at Cream in Liverpool on 19 December. Cubik:98 Victor Calderone remix has gone to number 3 in Billboard's official US Club charts.
November
	The next ZTT/808state release will be a remix of 'The Only Rhyme That Bites'. This will also contain the Victor Calderone remix of 'Cubik' as well as a Fire Island remix of 'Bombadin' by Heller and Farley. Expected release dates: February '99 and DJ promos in December. Darren has been doing production work for a band called 'Jeep'. Graham has done some guitar work on a Promo EP by Rephlex artist Leila entitled 'Too Much Heaven On Their Minds. Magga Stina, who's album is out now (production by Graham), is supporting Bjork on her UK tour this month. Newbuild won't be released until the new year...

The Cardigans remix has been called off. Quincy will be out on 7 December. 808 are playing Manchester Academy on New Years Eve. Massey's Toolshed Allstars are playing Mass in Brixton London on 5 November. The Toolshed will be relocating to the 'Band on the Wall' venue in the new year.

November see's the UK release of a new track: Quincy. It's coming out on 7" single on the 'Slut Smalls' label, which is associated with Jockey Slut magazine. They are bringing out a new 7" by a different artist every month for the next twelve months starting on 26 October with Lionrock / Silicone Scally. ZTT are planning on re-releasing 'The Only Rhyme That Bites' b/w 'Bombadin'.

808state will not be appearing at the Goliath Rave in Zurich, Switzerland on 3 October.

October looks like it's going to be a good month for the 808 collector: 90, ex:el and Gorgeous CD's are to be re-released in the US through Universal. As announced earlier, Newbuild is to be re-released on vinyl and CD through Rephlex in the UK accompanied by a single.

Daz and Katy have just had a baby girl, named Sadie. All of 808 are now dads. DADCHESTER RAVE ON!

Check the images section for images of performances in Istanbul and Manchester. 808 have turned into a 'big band' recently, using extra people live replacing Darren who is expecting his wife to give birth imminently. In Turkey Mikey Wilson joined on drums and Paddy Steer on bass. In Spain two drummers were used, James Ford and Colin Seddon, the usual drummer. Patty and Walt did the Lasers at Manchester Heaton Park.
3-5 Sep
The Vigo gig in Spain will be broadcasted on the Net in Real Audio and Video by interFACE! On Friday 808 will go on at 1 am CET for one hour. On Sunday Andy will be spinning from 8:30 pm until 10:00 pm. Tune in.

808 are playing Heaton Park, Manchester on 19 September. It's a free open air festival entitled 'Maxmania' (guess the sponsor) and will feature BMX / skateboard etc shows. 808 will be appearing at 9:30 pm in what promises to be a great spectacle including the famous 808 lasers, fireworks etc.

Megadog presents the Beach festival in Cornwall 14-16 August. 808 will be performing on the main stage on Friday 14th. Festival dates for Spain to be announced soon.

	Another 808 gig: Istanbul, Turkey on 12 September! On 14 September, Graham Massey will be supporting legendary Factory outfit The Durutti Column at Manchester Cathedral. He will be performing Clock Star, a piece of muisc made entirely from the sounds of pulsars, given to him by the Joderal Bank Radio Telescope in Manchester. Very cosmic! Graham's next Toolshed featuring DOSE will be on 25 July in Manchester. Magga Stina's single 'Naturally' (produced by Graham) out now. A US remix of Cubik on Universal records is rumoured.

The 808:88:98 CD was released on Universal in the United States today. Compared to the UK CD, it omits two tracks (Cobra Bora and 10x10), but adds Cubik:98.
27 June
	The live date in Buenos Aires has been postponed. Andy and Darren are DJing at Breeze 98 in Leeds this Sunday between 7:30 and 8:30 pm. The 808 State show on Galaxy 102 Manchester is now on Sundays between 9:50 and 11:50 pm. The 'Thermo Kings' compilation, until now only available as a Japanese Import album, will soon be released on Hypnotic / Cleopatra in the U.S. 808 have remixed 'Club Montepulciano' by Hooverphonic. Out on Sony Music Belgium, Epic in the US. Andy Barker has contributed to a book entitled: "Once in a Lifetime - The crazy days of Acid House and afterwards" by Jane Bushman.

Another 808state live date: The Beach festival in Cornwall, England 14 August (Megadog). Graham Massey's next Toolshed night: Manchester 27 June with guest band Cylob.

	Ten years on and the classic Acid album 'Newbuild' will be re-released on Rephlex records with the blessings of Martin and A Guy called Gerald. More news to follow as it comes in. 808:88:98 will be released domestically in the U.S. at the end of June on Universal records.
13 June
Line up for Depercussions 12 hour festival in Manchester: Graham Massey and his Toolshed Allstars will be appearing at 3:30 outside dukes 92 with a six-piece band. Andy and Darren will be DJ'ing from 8:00 until 9:00 and 808 State will be playing live from 10:30 until 11:30. Also amonst the masses of artists: MC Tunes with his Dust Junkys and legend Afrika Bambaataa.

	Out now: Re-release of Graham Massey's 808 mix of "Govinda's Dream" by the Suns of Arqa on their new remix album also including Guy called Gerald mixes (Arkasound). The 808 State remix of 'Trailer Music' by Pizzicato Five is featured on P5's remix album out now (Matador Records).

808:88:98 entered the UK album charts at number 40 and the Indie album charts at number 4. Pacific:98 reached 21 in the UK charts, 1 in the UK Dance charts and number 3 in the Indie charts.

Another live date: On 13 June 808 State will be performing at Manchester Castlefield, site of many legendary free 808 gigs! Entitled 'Depercussions', this is part of the '50 years of the computer' festival in Manchester and will also feature the Dust Junkys.

Pacific'98 didn't make it in time for last week's excellent MTV Party Zone which had Daz sat on a couch inside a London record store. It will be world premiered on this week's show (Friday 13 March), so MTV Europe promise.

	Listeners of Grooverider's BBC Radio 1 show have already known it for a while: Grooverider has delivered what can only be described as a melodic-jungle monster remix of Pacific! 808 State have laid down their very own new mix of the version they play live. Jon Carter has been in charge of the Monkey Mafia mix of Cübik - be prepared for a massive big beat treat. 808 have created a 'live' version entitled Cübik'98 - it's hard as nails... a true representation of 808 at their best. Release date for these stormers is 6 April, followed by the 808:88:98 album a month later. Full details to follow.

Andrew Barker has become the proud father of a baby girl, named Eve. Congratulations! It is the second in the 808 State family - Graham Massey became father of a boy in 1997.

Happy 1998, the year in which 808 State celebrate their tenth year as a group! 808 have been busy in the studio, recording new versions of Pacific and Cübik. Grooverider is also pinned to remix Pacific! Graham Massey is producing an album for Icelandic singer / composer Magga Stina.
